Dr. Cristen Ayers, DDS, MS
Dr. Ayers grew up in Cary, North Carolina and is a 2015 graduate of UNC Chapel Hill where she received a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology and a minor in Chemistry. She continued her studies at UNC Chapel Hill and received her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from UNC’s Adams School of Dentistry in 2019. In her final year of dental school, she was recognized for outstanding undergraduate achievement in the study of prosthodontics. Dr. Ayers decided to become a triple Tar Heel and completed her specialty training in prosthodontics and earned a Master of Science degree in Prosthodontics at UNC Chapel Hill Adams School of Dentistry in 2022 where she served as the Chief Resident.
Dr. Ayers’ training allows her to provide outstanding care to all of her patients. Her clinical focus includes conventional fixed and removable prosthodontics as well as implant restorations. As a recent graduate of UNC Chapel Hill, Dr. Ayers has extensive experience with the most modern technology and digital advances in dentistry.
Dr. Ayers aspired to be a prosthodontist from a very young age due to personal dental experiences. Her interest grew throughout her academic career as she was able to see the impact she had on her patients at the end of treatment. Dr. Ayers enjoys being able to change peoples’ lives through giving them a beautiful, functional smile.
Outside of the office, Dr. Ayers enjoys spending time with her husband and her dogs, Piper and Sadie.
